We offer a course of alternative bachelor education. During the 3 year program, students will experience and investigate important issues of the world we live in and will work together in making it a better place for each of us. Bachelor degree in “Pedagogy” from One World University. It's the most adventurous teachers education you will possibly find.
Tasks
Teacher Training. Welcome to DNS - Another Kind of School 1st Year - The International Practice Field includes a 4 months bus travel through the Sahara desert 2nd Year - The National Practice Field incl. 6 months training in experiencing and understanding the national reality starting with one week at the school. Seeking employment as workers in factories and in other workplaces. Training to be working and living in a group and to function in a bigger European Town 3rd Year - The School Practice Field incl. 8 months working as substitute teachers, teaching children and young in different European school settings, practicing pedagogy, studying and specializations after school hours and during weekends. Procedure We do not have a long selection process for our participants. We believe that anyone can become an activist, and that anyone can make a contribution to development, if they so choose. The only requirement is to be EU citizen, be over 18 and be able to communicate in English.Procedure
Requirements Are you more than 18 years old? Have you completed a secondary education? Are you able to communicate freely in English? Are you open-minded, flexible and hardworking? Are you not afraid of practical work such as gardening, maintenance and construction? If you have a desire to take up a challenge, experience things that you will never forget and develop yourself, then this program is for you. Economy: You pay an enrollment fee of 4,000 Danish Kroner (approx. 550 Euro). There are different school fees for the different programmes. Therefore, if you read the information in this letter, and take a stand to which program you are interested, then we can communicate more about the relevant fees. Drugs and Alcohol: One of the important demands we place upon you as a participant in our school and programme, is that you understand and actively support the frames of the school and program.
