-The project consists in different activities in the protected area of the Natural Park:
Collecting information and images ; Outdoor activities with schools and informal groups ; Monitorization of wild bird species and flora of the Region
Tasks
The EVS volunteer will help our members and Staff in the fallow activities: - Collecting information(field work) regarding to the Natural Patrimony (geomorphology, hydric resources, fauna, flora, etc…)Allied to the activities of collecting information there will be other tasks:- to map information (cartography)- to photograph- to film- to record (audio)- to identify The treatment and storage of this information is realized trough tools and equipments (informatics material and database) that are put available by Vertigem for the effect. - Outdoor activities. the studied areas of the Natural Park with animation activities with schools and informal groups, trough the preparation, organisation and framing of specific activities such as:reception of groups- pedestrian walks to observe and interpretate the Nature- bicycle rides- caves exploration (speleology)- topography of caves- mountains (scalling, rapell)- bird watching and bird identification - maintenance of used materials for activities; Criteria
Very important The participants must have a sending organisation accreditate as coordinator under the program EVS Erasmus + which will be available to apply for funding in their country - Clear and objective exchange of information with the candidate and the sending organisation, with basis on the form for candidates given by Vertigem, and the exchange of emails, fax and post between the 3 parts involved (volunteer, sending organisation and hosting organisation).Adjusted profile of the candidate to the project, motivation and desire to be useful, interest in nature and environment protection. Be willing and enjoying communicating and learning will be the main factors to be considered in the candidate's selection made by Vertigem.Factors as race, sex, age, religion or political ideals are not condition factors in the appreciation of the applications.Procedure
For this project we would like to receive enthusiastic people with good communicational skills, who are independent and willing to participate in the project. Qualities taken into account by Vertigem in the selection of candidates for this project are: love of nature and protection of the environment; enthusiasm, motivation to participate in our specific project, appreciation in being useful; enjoy communicating and learning new skills and competences, interest to work in a team, tolerance towards difference. We would highly appreciate the volunteer's being flexible, with capacity to adapt to new and different situations and treating an obstacle as a challenge. Factors as race, sex, age, religion or political ideals are not conditioning factors for appreciating the applications.Details:
